Attendant New Call Tone notifies you of new calls to the attendant console by sounding a warbling tone. New calls include calls that are added to the call waiting queue and held calls that recall the console. The tone sounds once if you are engaged in another call or repeats if your line is not engaged.
In a multi-console system, only the attendant who has a held call that recalls receives the new call tone.
An attendant who has an incoming call to the console receives the new call tone.
This feature does not require programming.
All consoles
To adjust the volume of the new call tone:
While the console is ringing,
press the or CTRL
or CTRL
key on the PC keyboard to set the volume to the level you want.
You can also use the Audio option on the
Tools menu to adjust the ringer volume.
To adjust the volume of the new call tone audio indication:
Press the Up or Down arrows.
